The Workshop:

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you stretched a traditional block into a diamond and used it as one "arm" of a star? In this 3-day workshop, students use Cheryl's patterns and freezer paper piecing technique to create beautiful, kaleidoscopic stars. The precision is easy with the freezer paper technique, and the beauty of it is being able to remove the freezer paper once the block is complete without having to pick out tiny bits of paper. Cheryl has selected 3 stars for students to choose from for this workshop, which are suitable for confident beginners and beyond.

Refund Policy: There are no refunds on class fees unless the class has been cancelled. A refund will be made if a replacement can be found to fill your place in the class or you provide a replacement.

About the Artist:

A quilter since 1993, Cheryl has written 5 books with C&T Publishing, including the best seller Doodle Quilting, and Blocks to Diamonds, which was the beginning of her fascination with complex-looking stars. She works closely with Timeless Treasures Fabrics, designing mostly with their Tonga Batiks. Her first line of fabric came out in 2010.
