Celebrate Black History Month through ART! Let’s get creative and bring our imaginations to life! Below are lesson plans designed for each of the four school buildings in District 80, Pre-K-8th grade. These lessons are being taught in-person as well as being offered to full remote learners.

Everyone, no matter what school district, is encouraged to take advantage of these unique and fun art projects. *If you are an educator in the southern Illinois region and would like to purchase supplemental materials to make this a hands-on learning experience for your students please contact Carrie GibbsDirector of the Shrode Art Center, at carrie@cedarhurst.org or call 618-242-1236 ext. 249.
